Visit from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

LiT.RL received a visit from Professors Tan Seng Chee, Kevin Hartman, and Betsy Ng, researchers at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. The conversation focused on how technology can be used to assess different forms of learning, and how to improve writing and citation skills in classroom settings.

Dr. Tan’s research interests include Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning, knowledge creation in education, and teacher education. His most recent publications include the edited book “Knowledge Creation in Education” published by Springer in 2014.

Dr. Kevin Hartman introduces learning interventions to facilitate more complex forms of learning and develop bridging technologies to measure the results across systems.

Dr. Betsy Ng’s her research interests include motivation, problem-based learning, service learning and cognitive psychology.
