From November 6-10, members of the LiT.RL lab attended the 79th annual meeting of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) in St. Louis.
Organized under the broad them of “research in and for the community,” the conference featured plenary talks by Aaron Doering on transformational learning and innovation in education and by Sarah Morton, who spoke on building non-academic partnerships and creating impact through knowledge exchange.
Victoria, Yimin, and Niall presented three posters based on our News Verification Project at ASIS&T and enjoyed many stimulating and informative conversations with attendees from around the world.
