On 29 April 2024, Dr. Victoria Rubin presented a conference keynote entitled “How to Combat the Spread of Mis- and Disinformation?” at Concordia University.

The conference was a two-day English-French bilingual cross-disciplinary event organized around the theme of disinformation . The conference was entitled “Disinformation: Creation, Dissemination, and Pedagogical Responses.” It was an event that brought together scholars from the U.S. and Canada who specialize in the humanities, social sciences, journalists as well as specialists in pedagogical approaches to dis- and misinformation.
