
Kess Fofah is a doctoral student in Library and Information Science (LIS) at FIMS, Western University, and became a member of Dr. Rubin’s LiT.RL Lab in fall 2025. He earned his master’s degree in information science with distinction from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 2013, following undergraduate studies in computer science and electrical engineering. His research interests revolve around information users; their needs, representation, and the amplification of their voices within cultural and societal discourse, such as ethics, law, policy, business, and technology design/adoption. His current research focuses on disability and Artificial Intelligence (AI) narratives, particularly among vulnerable and marginalized communities. Before returning to academia in fall 2024, he spent a decade in the corporate sector, gaining expertise in business analysis, process improvement, organizational change management, product ownership, and data analytics.
